Cross-Posting Woes

Sorry for the repost of "Through the Veil".  I'm trying to figure out how to crosspost to LJ *without* reposting it here, but the crosspost fails unless I update the date on my DW post, which either reposts it or just moves it to today.  Either way it's weird.
